Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca – The White City

Welcome to Morocco! Upon your arrival at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca, your driver  from Rachid Morocco Tours will greet you.

Depending on your arrival time, you will visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque. Perched on the edge of the Atlantic, it is the largest mosque in Africa and one of the few in Morocco open to non-Muslims. The intricate architecture sets the tone for the cultural immersion ahead. After your visit, we will transfer you to your hotel for a relaxing evening and an overnight stay in Casablanca.

Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen (The Blue Pearl)

After breakfast, we begin our morocco tour from casablanca heading north. Our first stop is the capital, Rabat. Here, we visit the Hassan Tower (an incomplete minaret) and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, a masterpiece of modern Alaouite dynasty architecture.

After lunch, we continue our journey through the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen, also known as the Blue City. This is one of the most picturesque towns in the country. You will spend the night in a charming riad nestled in the heart of the blue-washed medina.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Fes

Spend the morning exploring Chefchaouen at your own pace. Wander through the narrow alleyways of the medina, where every wall is painted in shades of blue, from sky to indigo. It is a photographer’s paradise.

Later, we depart for the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. This UNESCO World Heritage site boasts some of the best-preserved mosaics in North Africa. After exploring the ruins, we drive to the nearby holy city of Moulay Idriss before finally arriving in Fes, the spiritual and cultural heart of Morocco, where you will stay for the next two nights.

Day 4: Fes City Tour – The Imperial City

Today is dedicated to exploring Fes el-Bali (the old city). With a local licensed guide, you will navigate the labyrinthine alleys. You will visit the Royal Palace (gate), the famous Chouara Tannery, the Al-Attarine Madrasa, and the Quaraouiyine University, considered the oldest existing university in the world.

This is a day for sensory immersion—the smell of cedar wood, the sound of the call to prayer, and the sight of artisans working with metal and leather.

Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

Today is the beginning of the desert adventure. We leave Fes and drive through the Middle Atlas mountains. Our first stop is Ifrane, often called “Morocco’s Switzerland,” known for its alpine architecture and clean air.

We continue through the cedar forests of Azrou, where you can spot Barbary macaques, before descending into the Ziz Valley. The panoramic view of palm groves stretching across the valley is breathtaking. As we approach Merzouga, the landscape turns to desert. You will check into a hotel on the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes.

Day 6: Merzouga Discovery – Jeep Tour & Camel Trek

Today is all about the desert. After breakfast, we take a 4×4 Jeep tour to explore the hidden gems of the Sahara. You will visit Khamlia (the village of the Gnawa people) to experience their spiritual music, see the old mines of Mifis, and enjoy tea with a nomadic Berber family in the open desert.

In the late afternoon, the highlight begins: a camel trek. Ride your dromedary across the golden dunes to a luxury desert camp. Here, you will enjoy a traditional dinner under the stars, complete with drums and Berber music. This is the essence of any morocco itinerary 10 days experience.

Day 7: Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

Wake up early to witness the sunrise over the dunes—a truly magical moment. After breakfast at the camp, we travel towards the Todra Gorge. The towering limestone cliffs rising up to 300 meters high are a haven for rock climbers and nature lovers. You can take a leisurely walk along the river.

In the afternoon, we drive to the Dades Valley, also known as the “Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs.” We will stop to see the unique “Monkey Fingers” rock formations before checking into a traditional hotel overlooking the valley.

Day 8: Dades Valley – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

After breakfast, we drive through the stunning Rose Valley (famous for its annual Rose Festival) and the Skoura Oasis. Our main stop today is Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed fortified village (Ksar). This site is a favorite for filmmakers; you will recognize it from movies like Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and The Mummy.

We cross the High Atlas mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 meters). The winding roads offer spectacular views of the mountains and traditional Berber villages. By late afternoon, we arrive in the vibrant city of Marrakech.

Day 9: Marrakech City Tour – The Red City

Your final full day is dedicated to exploring Marrakech. With a local guide, you will visit the majestic Koutoubia Mosque, the beautiful Bahia Palace, and the serene Majorelle Garden.

In the afternoon, dive into the chaos and charm of Jemaa el-Fnaa square. As the sun sets, the square comes alive with storytellers, snake charmers, and food stalls. Enjoy a farewell dinner at a rooftop restaurant overlooking the bustling square.

Day 10: Departure from Marrakech Or Casbalanca
