Your adventure begins with a morning pickup from your accommodation in Fes. We ascend into the Middle Atlas Mountains, leaving the urban buzz behind for crisp mountain air. Our first stop is Ifrane, a charming city known as "Little Switzerland" for its unique chalet-style architecture and manicured gardens. Here, you can photograph the famous stone lion statue.

We continue through a scenic landscape of cedar forests, where you might spot troops of playful Barbary Macaques, before arriving in Midelt, the "Apple Capital," nestled between two mountain ranges. We stop here for lunch.

In the afternoon, the scenery transforms as we drive south. The descent is a spectacle in itself. As we approach Merzouga, the first sight of the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi on the horizon is a truly unforgettable moment.

You'll have ample time to walk along the riverbed, absorbing the scale and cool atmosphere of this famous site.

From there, we continue along the legendary Road of a Thousand Kasbahs to the Dades Valley. Known for its dramatic and unique rock formations, often called "Monkey Fingers," the valley offers stunning vistas. We wind our way up to a famous strategic viewpoint for panoramic photos before checking into a hotel or kasbah nestled within the valley for an overnight stay, with dinner included.

After breakfast, we depart from the Dades Valley. The journey leads us to the crown jewel of Moroccan ksars: the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou. This is a fortified earthen clay village perched on a hill, famous for serving as the backdrop for films like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. You'll have a guided tour to explore its ancient, labyrinthine streets.

After lunch in the area, we begin our final ascent, crossing the mighty High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka Pass. This is one of the most spectacular drives in Morocco, with ever-changing views of Berber villages, deep gorges, and hairpin bends. We will make several photo stops to capture the grandeur of the landscape.
